During the production of her media project, Salma Begum used a variety of technologies across different stages. In planning, she used Movie Maker to create storyboards and Flash to develop animations. Word was used for scriptwriting and phones and social media for communication. In research, she analyzed film classifications and institutions to understand conventions. Survey Monkey collected audience feedback. Construction involved using iMovie, QuickTime, Final Cut and Flash for editing, and Photoshop for the poster. Logic Studio created the radio trailer. Evaluation included using the BBC and MP3 recordings to analyze the film and areas for improvement.
